I just had a call from this number on my mobile. The man said he was from "Win at Checkout" which I had to ask him to repeat as I didn't understand him the first time. He claimed that if I answered a short survey of questions I could win a lot of prizes, then suddenly his voice went funny and the call cut out. Definitely some sort of scam

Answered a call from this number today on my mobile. The man, who was very hard to understand, said he was from some company with "Lifestyle" in its name. As I said, he was very hard to understand. He claimed I had entered some sort of competition with my details online. Yet couldn't tell me which website when asked. The number showed as being in Australia, yet I knew this man was nowhere near Australia. I asked twice which country he is in, to which he finally answered, South Africa. I threatened I would report him to Australian authorities and hung up. The number is now, along with many others, on my antivirus software's blacklist. I never give my mobile number on competition sites, so where they got my number from, I have no idea.

i had been getting miss calls everyday and today I gave in and asked who it was and she said it was my 14 year old sons wife??? Yeah right so I had a go at her and said my son was 14 and I was his mother and she hung up so I called back and complained about her

I just got a call too I do not answer numbers or private numbers, I am also on the do not call list.

They called me today and as it was an O2 (Sydney) number I answered as I thought it could be Optus or something. I couldn't hear what she said she was calling from I think she said some sort of life insurance but if I answered a short survey I would go into a draw to win all these different types of prizes she rattled off to me. (I was going to ask her again where she said she was calling from but I couldn't be bothered) I said no thank you.... I waited for her to say something to try to keep me interested but nope it was quiet for about a second and she hung up on me! LOL RUDE!!! It was a Indian lady and I could hear people talking in the back ground, call centre.

STOP calling me, I'm surprised you haven't got the message as I don't answer you calls. If I receive any more I will be handing the problem over to my service provider

They are calling me many times a day. Im on the do not call register so im really pissed at all the stalking by this company.

I just started entering the cash cow on Sunrise and had that number as a missed call today. Could it be related?

These dudes are a pain in the butt. i am sick of getting calls from this stuff. i thoought the Do Not Call register was meant to make this better.

Yes..SCAMMERS .... they called me on 19.02.2015 and I didn't answer it as the number has no name and then they keep calling since. a few days ago, they called and I picked, this lady, with an indian accent, try to talk hard to understand, something like i won $250 and i can claim it... I asked her where is she calling from but she never respond so I told her am not interested and don't call me again. she hang up, now I get like about 3- 4 calls a day as come through as ' voice calls' I will not answer it and will try to block. WARNING- BE Careful when you enter competitions/ survey online ( trust me you wont win anything) they pass your contact details to other companies tried to sell or doing fraudulent activities..

I WILL NOT answer any number that starts with 028. Period. I'm now looking into any phone system that allows me to block any number that starts with that combo. My Uniden cordless will only block up to 20 numbers. USLESS. It won't let me block OVERSEAS PRIVATE NUMBER which comes up quite frequently on caller ID and are definitely telemarketers and scammers. As I run a business I am told I cannot be on the do not call register. I want technology to step up to the plate and give me back the power to auto answer known recorded scum callers so that it cost them money and then just simply hang up on the bastards so it at least costs them for the call EVERY TIME. Then they may get the message to black ban MY number from being called. I'll gladly pay for such a phone system.

thanks to everybody's effort in reporting their experience. I too do not answer calls from unknown numbers. Due to their persistence I decided to look up their number to see if they are a legitimate business. All the above mentioned comments I experienced. Thanks to the advice to block them.

Three calls. One was missed, the next I answered but they hung up. The third one went to an automated message with a female voice which sounded Indian or at least from the sub-continent. Interestingly the message said that if I wanted to remove my details from their service, I needed to ring another number. The number that was given was the same as another missed call that I had from the UK. That number (don't ring it; it's a scam!) is +44 161 655 0650. As I said, the message suggested I call that number to remove my details. I use Norton Mobile....I just block them.

I never once answered a call from this number and have blocked it now. In my call register it came up that they tried to call me at 12:13pm today. I don't think it is something from online as I NEVER put in my actual phone number if it has an asterix when asking for my phone number. I put a fake number. I also don't enter competitions online so definately scammers.

This number has been calling me all day and the odd thing is I had and it could be a coincidence but I had my facebook account hacked this morning while i was logged in and all my About information had been deleted and all my friends I had been messaging through facebook had been deleted as friends

I have received numerous missed calls from this number over the past week. They call every day, several times a day. I have now blocked them.

I just read through everyones comments and I just blocked the number! Ive had heaps of missed calls from this number. Never left a messgae.

I got a call today and told them to go away and not to call my phone. They called back a few hours later!
