Received a phone call off this number purporting to be Telstra trying to set me up with 50% discount on my mobile.
Said they were sending me a verification code. I confirmed this over the phone and then received confirmation text from Telstra saying they had sent an email to an address that was not mine.
I realised at this point that this was potentially a scam call and hung up immediately and called Telstra to report it.
