An automated message saying "I want you to contact me at my department number two 8007 5462. Now if we do not hear from you, we have to issue an arrest warrant in your name and have you arrested".

I called back and they said they wete from the investigation department of the tax office asked for my name to check my file. when I gave a false name they said get lost and hung up ..all Asian accents

Scam message saying if I don't get back to them straight away they will issue an arrest warrant and have me arrested...... do it I say.... I feel like a rest with 3 meals and my washing done by someone else.
I did try to call back but it was continually engaged....must be a lot of people wanting in on the action.

This scam even has robocall. Ask for their address and they will hang up. Better yet, screw with them for as long as possible so they waste their time.

I received this as well. Have no idea what this is. This computer generated voice claims to be the tax office.

I received the same message on my voice mail, the exact same. I know I haven't done anything wrong that's why I'm thinking it's a scam. How can they do this and get away with it! They should be charge seeing that it is a landline. Get real tough on these so and so's.

I just got the exact same automated message to my work phone. American voice recording. Doesn't seem legit.

Recording played, claimed to be from ATO and calling re a tax court case against me. I just hung up.

I received the same automated message, I did not call the number they suggested as this is obviously a fraud.

I myself work for ATO. When they rang me, I gave wrong name and address and they verified as CORRECT. And they asked me to transfer money, as I had miscalculations in the past few years tax return.
