This number repeatedly called our landline and mobile phone, saying that we have multiple viruses on our computer. They claimed to be Telstra Technical Support under the name 'Rex Williams' and 'Ryan Williams' from North Sydney.
They wanted $520 wired into their account - located in India.
After accusing them of being 'hackers', the told us to F off.
Do NOT give them any information!

I received a scam call through this number which is a local VoIP number not registered with Telstra. The male caller called himself "Alex" and had an Indian accent. He said that he was calling from Telstra Technical Department but Telstra Unwelcome Calls Line 1800 805 996 - open 24/7) said that the call definitely did not originate with Telstra and came from overseas. Just hang up on this caller. Do NOT give them any information at all.
