Called telling me they are ATO. Threatened to arrest me and send to court. I said I'd enjoy my day in court and they hung up.

automated message claiming to be from tax office. Said police officer was going to show up at door if I didn't return call. Very robotic voice.. not even a good attempt at a fraud call...

Received a call on my mobile from scammer posing to be ATO representative threatening arrest and to phone or get lawyer to contact them - message was recorded and pasted together from many voices. I returned call from silent number and it was answered by an Indian call centre. It has been reported to both police and scamwatch

Just received a call from "John" from the "Australian Taxation Office" stating that they had received a complaint about me. (How many times does the ATO receive complaints about individuals and they must talk to them on the phone???)

I expect they were calling from the sub-continent due to his accent and long lag times.

He couldn't pronounce my name, and asked if my postal address was PO Box blah blah, which is my previous postal address used once for a domain name registration.

Total scam.

They called me today asking for money or they would dispatch the police. Abused me and hung up. Fake scam
