Claim that I was to be arrested, as I know that is not true this is a scam.. low life scare tactics..

SCAM! Advised that I was under investigation by the ATO and a warrant was issued for my arrest and to call the above phone number. What a lot of crap especially when my dealings with the ATO stopped years ago.

THIS IS A SCAM! There was a threat of legal action by the ATO and instruction to call the above number. Caller claimed that the Tax Office were going to issued a warrant for my arrest. I do not have dealings with the ATO anymore! WHAT A LOT OF CRAP

I have had this message 3 times now. It is a SCAM. Don't let anyone re-act to their nonsense.

I got a recorded message to my work landline, sounding official and serious and urging me to to call (02) 8006 1429. I called the number and he said he was from the compliance dept of ATO and sent paperwork to me. When I asked what address he sent it to, he made up some bogus address. I called him out on it and said that ATO should have my address and stuff and he hung up on me. Lol I am now ringing this number to prank them back, I've called him about 20 times...he is getting the sh*ts, meh

Said it was a "message from the Australian Federal Police!"
I hung up at that stage as I knew my criminal activity didn't extend into areas overseen by the AFP.
All sounded very official and I really feel for people rung by these scumbags who aren't as aware of this sort of stuff as we are at my house

Recorded Scam Call from Tax Office. Cited a reference number. Told me to not ignore otherwise would be arrested.

Same as others, an English sounding automated voice telling me I'll be arrested if I don't ring (02) 8006 1429 due to a tax problem. Need to have a harsh word to my accountant and financial advisors. LOL

Received a call from this number, it played a recording of a cultured English voice claiming he was from the AFP who had received a complaint about me from "Australian Taxation Office".

Yet another feeble attempt at the old ATO scam although this one comes with a computer generated British accent. Worth listening to twice just for a laugh

The usual BS speel from someone purporting to be from the ATO and threatening arrest etc. Interestingly enough they seem to have worked out that using an Asian who can barely speak English is not so clever so they've gone with a completely over the top fake British accent which is so laughable it's worth listening to over and over
