They call me and explaine same story, while I call back and ask who are they and why running these scammers net work, the lady replied, If you are not interested forget it.
My question is why our law and administration not taking against these people ?

YEs i also recived this anonmous call and spoke with a lady name Angel Smith who advised me that i have got $3114.00 and they were calling from Australian Council and said that all i have to do is go to the post office fill out some forms and take my ID with me and pay $281.00 for the admin fee than the money will be refunded back in to my acoc*nt.....i just wantt to know if this is a Scam becuase if there is money there for me i want to knw how to claim it...thanks

These guys rang my sister-in-law (who has a mental disability) and got her so distressed she spent the day crying.
When I rang (02) 6108 4604 I supposedly got a Mark Anderson (a good Indian name) from the Tax Reimbursement  Department. When I told him the government had no such department he said they were a private company that had been working for the government for the past 7 years.
Apparently they wanted my sister-in-law to  put a $500 deposit down so she could get her $4744 refund.
I told him that if there was any money due to her the DSS would sort it out and hung up.
They rang my number back twice trying to get hold of her.
NASTY NASTY PEOPLE.............

I recieved a call from a a Oscar Cartwright (08) 6105 0506 from the australia council union at 372 Elizabeth st surry hills nsw telephone number 08saying the ATO owed me $8334 from back taxes. He then said I had to go to post office fill in forms and transfer $239 fees through Western Union to a Brijesh Giri in India to recieve the money and then a further $800 considered the GST. This is a SCAM.......I hope this helps the next unexpected victim.

Yes, I also recived this anonymous call 3x from (02) 8014 7205 and spoke with a lady name Angela Simpson who advised me that i have got $7496.00 owing to me from overcharged bank fees. And she gave me a confirmation code too. They said they were calling from Australian Council Bank Reclaims Department and said that all i have to do is go to the post office, take my ID/passport and my mobile phone with me and pay $350.00 for the admin fee than the money will be refunded back in to my acoc*nt.....I just want to know if this is a Scam / It that True? And who to contact in regards to this information.

this number belongs to scam artists... in India.claiming they are from "Bank Reclaims Experts" or "Australia Council" - they are from neither of these places.HANG UP - GIVE NO DETAILS - YOU HAVE NO MONEY OWING TO YOU - ITS ALL LIES TO GET YOUR MONEY......
