Caller: Telstra technical support Sophie called to say NBN was coming and my land line would be cut in 24 hours. Wanted me to connect my computer to their website so the technical people could take over and solve all the issues they had uncovered so that I couldn't get hacked. Kept her on the phone for 28 minutes 18 seconds, but had to call her back because I had urgent need to go to the toilet. Very helpful in guiding me through as I told her I am 94 years old and my hearing, eyesight and shaky hands made it difficult for me to hit the right keys. My friends have a pool going to see how long we can keep the callers on the phone.

Caller: Micheal - the manager called my home phone number and said that I've been hacked, I didn't give him my phone number and called from work so they would have a different number on their caller id which led me to think that it was a scam, he was very abrupt and told me that he would cut off my phone and internet if I didn't access my computer to secure it now. I told him that I would call back later when I get home... NOT!
