Recorded message claiming to be from the Australian Tax Office. The message advised there was a problem with my Tax File Number and the ATO was taking legal action against me. Apparently an arrest warrant has been issued. Press 1 so I could speak to an operator and try and resolve the problem. What complete and utter rubbish. 100% scam. DO NOT PRESS 1. Hang up on these clowns straight away.

Caller: Officer working ATO Indian man rang claiming I was being investigated for fraud. He gave me an his badge number and started reading out my rights then ask for my tax file number. The line was really poor and could barley hear or understand him. I told him it seemed very unprofessional, then he hung up
