Recorded message says AFP has an ATO complaint against me which may led to arrest, gave a number to call back 02 8005 11xx (didn't catch the last 2 digits).

This number phoned our business with a recorded message adising that we will be arrested re: and ATO issue also. SCAM!

A telephone scam leaving voice message claimed from ATO of taxation issue and law suit if I do not call back to this number.

I also had a call just today from Taxation office threat for my warrent of arrest. My accountant told me to ignore. It is another scam.

Claiming and threatening re impeding legal case, issuing arrest warrant, gave the case number. Sound serious but this is scam. All recorded in messaging.

Complete scam. Pretending to be from the ATO, and threatening arrest as per the above callers' experiences.

These peope leave a robotic voice recording, very poor 'official' sounding ATO threats regarding arrest warrant.

Called the number to ascertain their nationality, Indian accent. Most likely spoofing the number to an Australian tower in Sydney.

Do not give details to. Scam.

Australian Federal Police message claiming impending law suit by Taxation Office - yeah right!! Pull the other one you losers!!

Recorded message from Federal Police stating that there is a warrant out for my arrest and then execution. Gives an ID number but runs through that really quick. Do not ring back!!!!! So a hoax - didn't know execution still happened in Australia!!!!!

I had the same call left as a phone message on my iinet mobile. Its a pity iinet don't screen scam calls.
