Caller: Someone pretending to be from NBN Called saying he was from NBN and that he knows I am experiencing some default with my internet connection. Wanted to log in my computer pretending to check the security of the internet connection. Asked me to open my bank account from my computer and suggested to fix the problems. He then proposed to send money directly into my bank account to attract any hacker and then eventually ask me to send the money back. I hung up and I will reset my pc. Shame on this people. Indian accent. DO NOT TRUST ANYONE ASKING FOR YOUR DETAILS even if they claim to switch off your internet!!!!!!

Caller: Someone pretending to be from NBN This person claims he works for the NBN and goes by the name of John Williams. He claims they were going to disconect my NBN service because of some tec issues. He wanted me to logon to my computer. No doubt to gain access to my pes info.
So, I told him I would ring him back if he have me his ph number which he did. So I rang him back the next day and told him I was from the QLD fraud squad. Well, did he abuse me when he thought I was from QLD Police. He abused me so much then he hung up. As I was talking to him he sounded more African or Indian. The ph number to careful of is (02) 800 509 41.
