Caller: Some Robot left me a voicemail

Saying I have an arrest warrant out for my name.

I just had the exact same thing. Meet you in jail? ;) Con!!

Scam - automated mss saying the ato was lodging a court case against me for a large debt owed. 2 things, A, I don’t owe the ato money & checked mygov - ato nothing owing & B, called a throwaway post paid number which is not my phone number I have registered with my ato & other government accounts.

Missed the call. text read that I had a lost suitcase getting filed under my name (news to me) wanted me to call them back immediately and didn't leave a name, seems dodgy.

I got the same, Called saying if I didn't call back immediately they were going to put out an arrest warrant in my name

tax office make believe call to get you to pay a fictitious debt to a scammer

I received the same message that if I did not return the call an arrest warrant would be issued for my arrest. Supposedly from the Tax Office. The voice was recorded/digitally produced and had an American accent.

Caller: Robot Voice

Said they were from the Australian Tax Office.
Said something about unpaid tax & asked to be called back before a warrant for my arrest was sent to local police.

Same as previous comment if I didn’t call back they would arrange an arrest warrant

Left message stating they were the ATO, there was a law suit against me and that I’d be arrested. V sure it’s a scam

Answerphone message advising I must call back or a warrant will be issued for my arrest ???
