SCAMERS recorded message saying they're the tax department and to stop police coming to your door contact them

Scammers who left message that they want me or my lawyer to ring them before I am faced with police officer at my doorstep or place of work,showed it to police who said sadly some people are sucked in and hand over bank acct info.

SAME. I wasn't home but the fellow with a foreign accent left a message. Caller claims to be from the prosecution section of ATO asking to call them back to avoid having police "at your door or your workplace". Gives the number to call back! What a cheek.
