Caller: Claimed to be from Ebay

Tried to get my personal information telling me it was to with an overseas transaction on my Ebay account using Paypal. Got very nasty when i wouldn't confirm my details. Be careful

Caller: (02) 7208 9781

Recorded message saying it was from E-bay Security about a $200 gift card. I hung up and rang the number back, a lady answered and I asked why they were calling and she said it was about an e-bay account. I said I don't have one and told her it sounded dodgy. She then asked if I was Kristen which I'm not and I hung straight up.

Caller: Claimed to be from eBay customer service

Call received stating they were eBay customer service in regards to recent purchase of $200 gift cards & wanting my details. Hung up. Called back to verify number. I advised that I do not have eBay, nor did I purchase anything & was on the do not call register & will be reporting this number. Quickly hung up. Called back stating I was investigating complaints from this number & wanting to speak to the supervisor to verify. Quickly hung again. Called back & number now disconnected. Beware!! Scam.

Caller: eBay customer service

Call received as well stating they were calling in regards to $200 gift cards purchased on eBay. Hung up & called back. Asked who they were & stated they were EBay customer service. Told them I don’t have an eBay account & on the ‘Do Not Call Register’ & they would be reported. Quickly hung up. Called back again stating they were being investigated by the Federal Police ( little white lie) and asked to speak to a supervisor. Was hung on again. Called again & number has been disconnected lol!!

100% spam. They leave message on you phone about $200 transaction on ebay. When you call them, they are trying to get your personal info. Do not call them.

Caller: Apparently ebay

Scam tried to tell me I had purchased ebay cards could hear them in the background saying the same sh*t to me

Bottom line; this is an Indian based scam. Whatever you do, DO NOT call them or get involved in a conversation.

Said it was from eBay and I would be charged $200 for gift cards. Wanted my phone number! And said it wasn’t fake because it was a registered number.

Caller: Peter Wilson

From Ebay, buying giftcards on my account and using my profile to make fake accounts. IP address accessed in China and Russia. Hung up when I didn't give information they wanted.

said they from EBAy and money being taken out by china and Russia..wanted me to download team viewer

Some peanut asking "is this Dave?". " Are you aware of $200 worth of giftcards purchase with your account?"

I returned a call from (02) 7208 9243 but the voicemail didn't mention the company name
