Picked up and used a knockoff accent as I know there's a few calls like this, they wait for you to say hello and hang up so that they have a sample of your voice so they can emulate it and use it to gain access to personal accounts and information.

I was met with an automated message recording saying my tax file number is suspended. There is no way that anyone's tax file number can be suspended. These bloody idiots must think we're stupid. Well some people will fall for it in a panic. But please don't for these calls! It's a SCAM!

Knew this was a scam when i answered and they were offering to perform a sexual act on me. (No one ever does that, so that piqued my attention). I was tempted but reality got the better of me and i didnt write the motel name down and now i have forgotten. The room number was 69 though, I do remember that. I would most likely have been mugged or worse, raped if i went. When will these people realise we are not all easily fooled. I have stayed home from work today hoping they call again and if they offer me money this time i might go. only for the experience though, it surely wouldnt be worse than tinder.

Indian sounding accent speaking sternly stating:

Okay you are being investigated about your tax file number and Centrelink. I want you to cooperate or this may end up with a warrant for your arrest.

He then continued by asking me my full name and I refused. He then said that my tax file number and my banking details would be frozen.

I then told him that he can arrange my warrant to arrest me as I really need a holiday from work. He then said that I agreed to press 1 to speak with him.

I told him that I frequently get fake calls such as this and he then told me to F*** Off and hung up

Scam - recorded message saying my bank account and TFN would be suspended and likely issue a warrant for arrest.

Looks like the "your bank account and fax file number will be suspended" message is going around again, stating it has been involved in illegal activity. Also throws in a threat of arrest and asks you to respond by Pressing 1.

This number just called my mum, they had an Indian accent saying that they had evidence that she was involved in a crime, they had her TFN and other details and she has 45mins to pay $$$ otherwise she'll be arrested. They told her that if she went to a police station they'd lock her up
