Caller: Scam caller pretending to be Telstra

Fake Telstra call!!! First a woman followed by a man. If you are going to scam people at least try and sound authentic. Whatever you do don't tell them anything about your computer and don't follow their directions. But do what I did and string them along a little afterall if they are going to try and waste your time and scam you why not waste their time too. Surely there is a way for these people to be stopped.

Caller: Indian guy

Call from (02) 6985 4654 saying someone is having unauthorised use of my internet and it is not working properly that they have been watching it over the last few day. Clearly reading from a script. I told him I don't believe him and I will call Teltra my self and the he is a scammer, he quickly hung up.

Caller: Supposedly Telstra

Saying internet will be switch off cause i was being hacked. I said i do not believe you are from telstra - tried to quote me an id number. But i told him not to call again and hung up.

Some low class slut said goodbye.

2nd day in a row...yesterday I told him I knew it was a scam, was there anything else he’d like to tell me?? He hung up... today, woman... I told her if she was from Telstra, I was the Queen of Sheba...ok, she said, their sending a technician tomorrow...😳. Yay.

Keeps calling several times a day. Every time I answer the person just hangs up as I think they've realised they've rung a business number. Is becoming very frustrating!

Claiming to be Telstra, but of course they aren’t.
Have reported this scam to Telstra after receiving 2 calls today and it’s definitely not Telstra.

Typical scammer . . . calling at 6PM. These guys are like clock work.

Tried some feeble sales lines to have me grant access my computer.

Caller: I couldn't hear a name

Lots of background noise, couldn't make anything out.

If your phone displays a caller id, just don't pick up the phone for this number. It will
only be a computer generated call. Some phones allow you to block numbers.

Caller: Scam Idiot

this number has called twice today, telling me they are telstra and my internet has been hacked, I told them if they can see this from their end they can fix it from their end, knowing it is a scam. As I wouldn't give them access to my computer - surprise surprise - they told me to put my hand on my head and pat it as my internet would get cut off, I told them to take their hand and shove it up their arse.

Caller: Said they were from Telstra (Mary - foreign speaking voice)

Told me I had trouble with my internet - I told her back that I didn't own a computer and that this was a SCAM. And she replied Oh! didn't know what else to say. I then hung up.

Dead air then hung up.

Called at 415 this afternoon, lady ?Lisa from .....couldn't understand her but said something about NBN, told her mine is fine and hung up!!! Very poor english

Caller: Scammers

Claimed to be from Telstra technical department. Obviously reading from a script, claiming that our internet is corrupted.

Asian lady, very poor slow English trying to tell me my Telstra internet coonection will be disconnected in 1/2 hour. Hung up as she couldn't understand Australian French.

they rang at 4.50pm on 30/10/2018 just listened then hung up ... weird !

Caller: Indian call center

Does not answer but the background noise is coming from a call centre probably from India

Caller: A male person

He just says hello and stays on the line. He does not say anything else.
I hang up and he keeps calling again and again.

Caller: Soem Idiot

They don't answer when you pick up. Nuisance. The guy has to go to hell
