I called back and got voicemail "please leave a message and we will call you back" It sounded like a home landline not TELSTRA as the initial call claimed with the invitation to press 1 to connect to a technician to avoid our landline being disconnected as the NBN is now available at our address.

Recorded message saying they had been trying to contact us. Said our phone and internet would be cut off in 24 hrs and we need to change to NBN which is now available in our area. (Actually it isn't yet!) Press 1 to speak to a tech. That was when I hung up.
