tried ringing number back and advises that the number is disconnected, interesting as they only called me 5 minutes before

Let go to the answer machine as appeared to be a previous scam number.

Rang no message cant return call.just another scam I assume

Claims I filled out a form for a free holiday, or something similar, which I never do.

As usual, the caller hung up as soon as the answering machine kicked in. Scamming pests.

(There's another post about these scammers claiming to be phoning about a holiday promotion. I suffered the same thing once, with the man telling me that if I hadn't signed up for it, a friend or relative must have done it on my behalf - you know, because the people I know are idiots. I did all I could to waste his time, pretending to listen to his nonsense and then saying yet again, sounding as vague as I could, that I didn't know anything about it. He got mad!)

Asked if I had filled out holiday request. Told him was was a criminal. Another scam . Reported.

Man saying I filled out some holiday promotion 9 months ago. They were promoting holidays. Told him I did not fill out anything and he had the nerve to say I probably don't remember. Wanker.

I rang back and call could not be connected. Some scam using disused numbers?
