Caller: Purported to be the ATO Rang my mobile this morning. They said they were from the ATO and that I had a 'tax violation'. It was a male voice and a pre-recorded information type of call. I hung up before it got much further. I rang the ATO to report it as a scam and they confirmed they do not use automated voice calls for any such type of matter.
