Lady called claiming to be from Telstra. Said that my Telstra internet connection was going to be suspended and asked if I knew why. I asked who she was and where she was from. She said she was from Telstra and gave a North Sydney address. I said that I wasn't with Telstra. She said that she knew that but all the wires belong to Telstra. (She obviously didn't know about TransACT - now owned by iiNet/TPG). She said she would help me with my problem and asked if I was near my computer. I suspected that this was a phishing scam call, so I said that she obviously wasn't with Telstra because she didn't have a clue what she was talking about. She hung up. I received another call later from the same number but didn't answer it. I think this is a phishing scam. Be careful.
