Caller: Tax scammer Recorded message. It goes: your Tax file number is to be suspended due to suspicious activity on your account .... Hung up at this point as it was clearly bs. The ATO do not contact you via recorded messages. As far as I know they don’t “suspend” any Tax File Numbers for any reason. If you are guilty enough to be worried about “suspicious activity on your account” then you deserved to be scammed by these idiots.
