Caller: Chinese Language Recorded Msg Recorded message in Mandarin. SCAM! Lots of other complaints about similar calls from similar 02 6228 prefix numbers. 'Your visa has expired and you will be deported unless you give us money' or 'you have a package at the Chinese Embassy, pay up'. Scamming A-Holes. Phone number displayed (possibly spoofed) may appear to be from Canberra, Queanbeyan or Yass area and is very similar to the real Chinese Embassy phone number in Canberra. The Chinese Embassy have issued an official warning about these scam calls.
