A voice message claiming it was the Australian Taxation office. It is a scam. They provide a number to call back and say it is offence not to call and you will go to jail if you do not call because of there being a problem with your tax number. Do not call the number they provide it is a scam and you will not go to jail. You are not in any trouble. Most likely will try and steal your tax file number and identity if you call.

Pre recorded voice message left on message bank claiming to be from the ATO. Tried calling back twice but it was engaged.

Computer voice claiming to be from the tax office warning me about tax evasion. Do not answer these calls they are hoax.

I rang once and got disconnected
