2 calls in a row, first was private number from an automated voice. This number had a more cultured voice UK style saying there was a lawsuit against my name with the ATO and I needed to phone a number immediately.

Recorded message saying that the Australian Tax Dept had issued a warrant for my arrest and to ring this number back or be arrested. Deep male automated voice. I blocked the number from calling me again.

I rang once and got disconnected

Caller: Scam call

They either call from this number or from another number similar to an ATO number (62161111) and leave a message asking to urgently call this number or "an arrest warrant will be issued against you" for tax fraud. DO NOT answer. Save andblock these numbers. ATO is aware of this scam and the AFP are investigating the issue. Scammers will be prosecuted.
