I received a job offer via email. On first impression on reading the email there were alarm bells ringing. They needed necessary documents, I dont recall aapplying for the job, the current location they have on their website is a lie because another company vacates that premises, im in Sydney and the office they have is in ACT, the phone number goes straight to voicemail. I got their job offer via email and they easily sent through the employment contract asking me to fill in my personal details etc and some company representatives in 'my town' will call me for interview and the trial period will begin. My suspicions began when first I didn't recall applying for this position, especially the company is located outside where I live and second when I asked where the Sydney's office is located at they could never gave me the address. And also other reasons.. IT IS A SPAM!! Be careful!!

I got an e-mail from so called Ausfin today - it is undoubtedly fishing for personal details. What I want to know more importantly, is where are they getting our details from? I received this e-mail at an alias e-mail address that I use only for job applications exactly for the purpose of warding off unwanted spam - therefore I can only come to the conclusion that some of the employers we are applying to are either a) bogus or b) selling our details or c) both!

I seriously advise people to be really careful what personal details you provide on job applications online - I would especially NEVER give out Passport details over the net as some employers ask for. These people are just prying on unexpecting and desperate job seekers, of which there are plenty at the moment in Australia.

SCAM!!! I've reported them to ACCC and Cybercrime.
Don't send them your bank details or copies of your identification.
Annoying as I'm a serious job seeker.

This number is a scam. After giving them what they needed they stopped replying. I have notified the police and they're taking care of them.

Me too I got an offer but when I call that number no one replies, it's probably a scam. They want to collect your personal information and use it god know what for. Anyway, be careful as these people are getting better, they even sent me en employment contract that looks very real.

I have just rang the number re: Job offer. I don't even recall applying for such a position. Am getting constant emails. Very persistent. Am waiting for a callback from the company itself.

I also got a "job offer" email with this number listed. Looked up business online, they have no employee listed and the number doesn't match any branch. Stay away

Email offering a job re: Ausfin LLC for Australian Financial Group with matching telephone. Very persistent. Very odd as I never applied for a job even close to this description/area etc. When looking for their website, nothing matched. A lot of spelling/grammatical errors in their email as well which suggested it was not authentic!!
