Had a call from (02) 6152 8650, the guy was talking smth about case not being written into the file and that he represents ATO, asked for contact but no one is answering under that number

had same phone call from this idiot, checked online to find out its a scam........beware

Had a call from (02) 6152 8650 said he was from ATO (Indian caller) left message for my wife. Said she would be arrested for not doing tax return but i have had letters from what i thought was the tax office as well.

Scam, an Indian guy called Peter Williams said he was from the ATO and said a tax audit had identified I was a tax avoidance criminal, and I owed $7000. and arrest warrants had been issued and I wld be arrested tomorrow if I didn't pay it. I cld pay the debt asap or the police would arrive tomorrow. Then said I could not discuss with anyone, even anyone standing in the room, or I would break the conditions and be arrested.

We're getting these calls at work, and we are a registered charity/non-profit organisation.

Received message to call Peter Williams at ATO definite scam. On request he gave me my address as I wanted to know why I didn't get this problem in the mail. I live in a unit and he didn't give me the unit number. Kept him going for awhile when asked what I should do he said to send $4000 or he could get me an attorney. He said I would be receiving a court order from NSW and when asked which court house he slammed the phone down. By the way it was an Irish accent.

Message from Officer Peter William (Indian accent) from the ATO was left on voicemail. Knew it had to be a scam

Indian Voice....I asked his address and was told to f*** off.....
