ATO Scam block!

Its a scam. Automatic voice message claiming to be calling on behalf of the ATO and requesting that I call them back.

Yes I received a call from this scammer today too. He yelled at me telling me to be quiet so he could tell me what the charge was - lol - then hung up on me.
It took me about 20 calls to get through to call him back but the I did I said "you're a scammer and I've reported you to the AFP" then I hung up on him.

Had a message left today from this number, have reported it to Scamwatch.

“This is ATO. The police officer will be at your home door or at your place if you don’t call us back.”

At least three young men voices with Indian type of accent - on the background in the room. Absolute scumbags.

This is a scam!!!! Don't call them back from your phone. They can recogonise your mobile number and your name.

They Call me From Viber as well.That would be a scam for sure.

ATO scam saying that police are coming to your door if you don't call them back.

Caller said he was from the tax office, alleged I had defrauded the tax department, and that there was a warrant for my arrest. The person has a heavy Indian or Pakistani accent.The call was bogus, I confirmed this with the tax office in Canberra. DO NOT give any info to this person if they call you.
