Same message as above. Has left 2 messages on our home phone saying its Australian Tax Dept. we owe money and if we don't return his call, it will be out of his hands and turned over to the policeman and a warrant will be issued for our arrest (awest). Asian sounding and calling himself Jason O'Connor.

Recorded frightener message by some fraudster claiming to be ATO to extort money

Scam caller claiming to be from ATO and threatening that police will come if unpaid taxes are not paid. ATO will never make calls like this. Definitely scammers.

Just had a call like that from Jaon O'Conor.

The state 'a case against your name' which means that they do not actually know my name.

Recorded scam message says, "Jason O'Connor from Australian Taxation office is calling about your tax evasion. A police officer from the local police department will contact you and issue a warrant for your arrest. Call us back on (02) 6145 2344."

This is a number left on our message bank from scammers claiming to be from the Australian Taxation Office and warning of someone's - no name - impending arrest for tax evasion and someone needs to call them back on this number immediately.

Keeps calling and then hanging up, only message I get is "Goodbye" which is prerecorded!
