Scammer - not a listed number

Caller: "Amazon"

Caller came from a call centre pretending to be Amazon, claiming someone bought a laptop on my account. Hard to understand due to the thick Indian accent and background noise. When asked to repeat himself the caller promptly hung up.

Tried so hard to convince me he was from Amazon , sent me a text link , really really said he wanted to help me cancel an unauthorised purchase that was on its way to Melb. No such record on my purchase history , I guess he would have got to the point of “ confirming” my cc for refund but he ended the call rudely as I was not co-operating . Unbelievable !

new scammer number, phone marked it as spam immediately and didn't let it ring me.

returned call with caller ID off and the number had been disconnected. Prob fraud

Scam say they are from Amazon

Came up as 'Potential Fraud'. Number is blocked now.

Caller left a message, (Repeated "hello"; asian accent). Did not say where they were from.

I returned a call and got, "This number is not connected".

Blocked!

Caller: Amazon

Indian guy, think he said he was from Amazon. I couldn’t understand him. A coffee machine Was purchased from my account should he go ahead and process. I kept him on the line for a while to waste his time then told him to cancel he disconnected himself as he was cancelling the transaction and no doubt adding my number to yet another list.
