I also received the heavy accented Indian man, John, who still hasn't sent me the paperwork. The website is a fraud (I found a website in the same format with a different company name & address). The name "Flexi Family" is not in the Yellow Pages in Canberra. I recommend contacting the so-called holiday venues that they have on their books to confirm if they have anything to do with them.

If you get a call from these guys offering cruise deals. Ignore them. We know the cruise agent personally that they tried to get to offer the deals. He states that he is not involved with them in anyway

I was to receive a GST refund from the fed govt in the sum of $7698.00 because I was a good payer with my card over a long period . I got caught but I was stil suspicious so rang the bank & cancelled the card before any transaction occurred. Be very careful people.

A year-and-a-half ago, I received a call from a heavily-accented 'David Smith', offering a discounted 7 nights at any of hundreds of chains of 4* and 5* accommodation such as Novotel and Best Western, for only $189-. The deal was that you had to have dinner and breakfast there, or pay for one night and get your second night free. Such callers would almost never survive a second sentence with me, but something in his manner got through, and I think I bought the vouchers with "Flexi Family" because it amused me that he'd managed me so well. I received my Flexi Family card through the mail, together with the 7 legitimate-looking vouchers. 'David Smith' gave me a tracking ID, together with his employer ID, and said that if I hadn't used my vouchers within the 2 years, I could call him back and he'd extend the vouchers by another year.
Needless to say, the website doesn't check out and the number is disconnected.

Got a call from these guys stating I had 'won' a competition that I entered at the beginning of the year!! Gave me full names, address, phone number, abn etc - knew something was up - who gives out all of these details in the first place - sure as heck not me!! Seeing numerous comments I can now see its a good thing I didn't get caught up!!

Just got a call tonight, same scam 14 vouchers for up to 14 nights accomodation for $368.00. Sounded too good to be true, realed off a bunch of hotel names in the area I said I was interested in, I asked if I could check their website and he said I would need to be a member and have a log in to do that and for some reason that could not be set up immediately so he will call back tomorrow. immediately I thaught what sort of company has a website that hides its product offering??? >must be a scam, so here I am and sure enough its a scam. Im sure he will call back tomorrow but I dont think ill be buying.

I work for a hotel and had a call this morning from a suspicious consumer who had been offered a 14 night accommodation package deal for under $400 and our propretry was one of those mentioned as accepting the vouchers. Luckily he thought to check it out with us first and we told him we had never heard of Flexi Marketing, nor had we ever particpated in any such promotion. We have reported to Consumer Affairs and suggest anyone lese who has been duped does the same.

Just got a call from an Indian guy saying he was from Flexi Family his name was Michael Hunt ( I was suspicious because of his strong accent). Michael was offering a fab holiday accommodation deal for one week anywhere in Australia for $189. He also started talking about the Grand Final game and the cricket-which I was not interested in. Michael kept telling me to write down his details but I smelt a rat and pretended my pen was not working and quickly got my iPad and searched the company. After skimming thru the comments I realised it
was a SCAM!!!!!

Had a phone call today from Flexi Family. Said his name was Sam Ross - spoke with a very strong accent. Said that Flexi Family was now very reputable after having a dodgy start a few years back. As on old customer, wanted me to have first opportunity to be part of the new system!! Said they even had an ABN now. Everything recorded so ensure that he did not say anything wrong. Now have all these motel chains on board, vouchers will now provide totally free accommodation then a crunch - have to eat at least 2 meals at the motel. Explained that we like to eat out, said well maybe could get it down to one meal. Said I had been ripped off last time, offered another 7 vouchers to add to the 27 useless ones we already have. Only need to pay another $189. Said I would get back to him as I don't make these decisions instantly. Given the same number as one of the comments above. Got on their website, found a local hotel, phoned them to see if they are part of it and they knew absolutely nothing about Flexi Family, they had taken all the photos off their website. They had nearly every accom in our town on their website. SO THIS IS A TOTAL CON. HOPEFULLY THIS ESTABLISHMENT WILL TAKE IT FURTHER. DO NOT TOUCH THEM WITH A 50' BARGE POLE.

I received a call from this group today, although they went by the name "Flexi Holiday". It came through from (02) 6100 7775 (after the suspicious "click & pause" of the line being redirected upon pick up) and "Lacey" (in her thick Indian accent) introduced herself as being from Flexi Holiday in Canberra. She asked for me by surname and proceeded to tell me that she was following up on a questionnaire I had filled out about their holidays. I NEVER do this so I told her so and she replied by asking if I lived at "XXX" address... yes, she had my correct address! I insisted that we never fill out those sort of things and are listed on the Do Not Call Register and that she should remove us from the list immediately. I hope they are stopped before too many trusting and oblivious people are scammed out of their hard-earned money.

They are still running the same scam. I am on the Do Not Call list but received a call from them today, offering the same deal of 7 nights at $189, from "Maxwell Wilson" , heavily accented, said he was from Canberra, insisted on giving me his employee number! He said I had filled out a voucher in a local shopping centre, and asked if I remembered doing this. I didn't because I don't care for such deals- as someone has noted above if it sounds to good to be true then that's probably right! I assume he said this to explain why he was calling when I am on the DNC register.

I fell for the trap and paid $189.00 on credit card, on the 2nd December 2011, reeived their useless holiday vouchers which were sent back to them requesting a refund , nothing back of course.

Hopefully their website is now cancelled.

I got a call from Xavier with Indian Accent. Made same offer as previous complaints staying beautiful Hotels. I asked him to repeat business name. I typed it into my web browser as we spoke & up came SCAM. I told Xaviet your Company is a Scam. He was pleasant & adamant they were not a Scam. Shame people are prepared to Scam people for $$$ & not care about lying to their Victims.

Just got this same called, I was suspicious straight away. After hearing the spiel, I was looking for them on my iPad while talking and knew it was a scam as the first guy told me a different company than the second! I told them I was uncomfortable doing anything on my computer and if they could send something in the mail instead. They said they couldn't do it, I said thanks but no thanks and hung up. SCAM!!
