"James Appleton from the ATO" saying they are "taking legal action against me, don't disregard this message, call back now!". All of this on my answering machine where I work... at the ATO.

I just received a call too, on my land line from a James Appleton saying exactly the same thing - issuing a warrant for my arrest if I didn't call back - it's a scam!

is this a scam or not?

these muppets rang at 7am... first no one spoke then a computer generated voice just said goodbye. Poss scammers I think
