Fraud call...claiming to be from Australian Immigration and Border Security...Big spill about getting deported to my motherland....when I asked what is my motherland? No idea and when asked what visa am I on....hung up.....SCAM SCAM SCAM!!!!!

Same sort of call received this week from Department of Immigration and border security. About to be deported to my motherland within 48 hrs. No follow up.

Rang me saying thete was a warrant out for my arrest. So at 2am to 3am i continually rang the number. Havent got anotjet one, so far.

Fraud! Received a call claiming to be from the Department of Immigration. Advised that there is a legal file from my motherland. The caller had heavy Indian accent and I questioned further what was my motherland? The called advised that the call is being recorded and the recording will be sent to AFP and officers from AFP will come to deport me. I laughed and he hung up. SCAM!

SCAM.. SCAM...SCAM...Scam pretending to be from Department of immigration. Same tactics- one visa officer who will brief u on allegations against you and then transfer it to leader for next steps... I was just told that in 24 hrs I will be deported for reasons that didn't make any sense. . They almost fooled me coz they didn't ask for any money or details, therefore, I have to take it seriously... I think they were going to make 2nd call to ask for money, but that gave me time to contact real department and they advised its a scam..

Called today pretending to be from DIBP and to advise me that I need to be deported back to motherland for not renewing my details with dept. every two years. The reasons they gave absolutely made no sense, but was surprised with amount of information they had about me. Also, didn't ask for any details or money that made be bit nervous to doubt them. Rang DIBP after that for peace of mind and was told to visit nearest branch. All sorted after couple of stressful hours.

Fraud Call, called to ask cash $4000 immediately. SCAM!!!!

Fraud call .. called claiming from ATO about tax return fraud and case filed in court against me ... then i asked for more detail and told him that spoke to ATO allready they will call you on this number... hung up straught away ... scam .scam be careful
