I got a call from some indian guy that claimed he was in kentucky illinois but he didn't have U.S. area code he claimed there was something wrong with my computer and could fix it. Then he gave us a whole crap load of stuff we gave to do in the computer. The last instructions was to exit out and we lost controll of the mouse and he was accesing and deleting information. I asked him what he was doing and he started stalling and saying what am I doing right now? Or nothing hung up but he still had access he called back I answered he said thank you bye bye and didn't call back. I called phone budgets but they couldn't touch him he was all the way in india and had a block on it. If anyone calls u from this number don't answer it. Ps don't feel bad for me cus somehow my company made it through. I was really scarred when they got on my computer.

Just just got a call from these people and my friend got a call from them yesterday (very dodgy).

Tried to convince me that my PC was sending data to their PC, and they where calling to let me know. After about a minute of quizzing the bloke on how my PC was sending him data and how did he get my name and phone number from the data being sent he hung up on me.

I'm reasonably certain they are all bullsh*t and it's all a scam

Melbourne, 2 April 2011, 8pm: I got a call at home from a curry muncher saying he was from the "technical department" of "secure all pc". I was immediately suspicious as, while we are in the phone book, we are also on the "do not call register"! He stated that there may be a problem with the security of our internet connection, however as soon as I started to confirm the company details he was with, the prick hung up!! This led me to google "secure all pc" and find this particular site/page which allowed me to confirm the dirty scam and post my own experience here. Thank you to this site!!!!

I gave them remote control, was still a little suspicious, but watched them the entire time. When they took me to a non-Microsoft website to purchase Web Shield, was when I got really suspicious. Why would they take you to a non-Microsoft Website to purchase a Microsoft product?

Does anyone know if they can put any viruses or anything on my computer through that remote control stuff?

This is a SCAM please do not do anything you are told by this company.

Microsoft or anyone related to Windows will not call you to fix your problems. Do not believe a word they say.

I got the same call just before and he was telling me i was having spy software downloaded on my computer. When i asked him how he got my number he kept avoiding the topic and then when i asked his name, his position, phone number and company he got a little aggressive. I typed in the phone number he was quoting and was reading this thread while speaking to him.
I then informed him that I was a part of the Police Union and if I received further calls from this number I was trace the call.
I was then handed over to another person who lost his mind at me.
people beware.

I just received a call from Ryan Astle and advising that he was from the Technical Support Team for the Windows Operating System. I was quite sceptical and asked for his full name and contact number. He then asked me to run some queries on my computer and asked me to count the number of errors and warning that I saw. He then asked me to go to a website which contained software that would enable them to access my cmputer on line. I then advised that I was not prepared to do this as I still had no idea how they obtained my details and who they were. Ryan was unable to satisfy me that he was who he said he was, so I asked to speak with his boss. Mark Daniels wasn't able to give me much more information and actually got quite nasty when I kept asking questions. I then explaind that I wanted to speak to his Manager and he asked why. I explained that I was not satisfied that they were legitimate and he said that they were trying to help protect my computer from hackers. I replied that they could be hackers for all I know. He then got extremely patronising and rude. When I asked to speak to his Manager, he pretended that he was losing the call and hung up on me. Don't waste your time talking to these clowns and certainly don't do anything they request you to do.

My wife had a call from this number. The guy said his name was Mark Daniel and claimed to be from "International Routing System" and directed my wife to "Secure All PC" website to download antivirus software.

Called me at 8:59pm. 'Rayan' from 'Computer Service Department'. When I asked about their reputation (see Google), Rayan gave the business name 'Secure All PC' (secureallpc.com), then escalated to 'Sam'. Sam gave an invalid Melbourne address and this NSW number, then hung up when I persisted in trying to identify the company.
