It's an automated system that dials random numbers. If the call is answered it automatically hangs up and relies on you to return the missed call. Once you call the number back they have you. Any number I do not recognise I save on my phone with the name DNA (do not answer). If the number calls again I see the callers name as DNA and I ignore it. Experience is the calls stop coming after a short period of time. The trick is not to call back. If it is important the caller will leave a message.

Make working in a call centre more stimulating.It's pretty simple.As a telemarketer you have a target of a number of calls you must reach in a day in order to receive your measly pay.A fast and efficient way of doing this is calling, then hanging up, then ticking the box on the screen that says "Was not available." Do enough of these in an hour and you can have as many cigarette breaks as you like!Now you know.

Same, I have never answered this number but they have called my mobile at least 13 times since 12th December 2013. Do ur job properly and stop harassing people! I just called then and yes it is ANZ telemarketing. I pressed 2 and talked to an operator and said take my number off, will see if that works now.

It's ANZ for sure, offering Life Insurance... for a bank making so much profit... their line quality is terrible ;-)

I have been getting the same call from the same number for the past 4 weeks! Call and then hang up.
