Fake caller. Don’t answer.

they use a variety of numbers ringing on behalf of an energy company about changing electricity suppliers. yes they are of Indian nationality

I answered and said hello like twice and then this Indian lady was like hello I could hear the phone call getting recorded she said are u with AGL I said can I ask who’s speaking then she said I’m calling from AGL and still wanted to confirm if I’m with AGL lol I said if ur fro
AGL and ur calling me why do I need to confirm this ? Then she hung up

Caller: Choice Energy

Calling to try and change electricity providers. Had my name but didn't know if my name was on the bill etc. Have had multiple calls from this Choice Energy despite me asking them to remove my number.

Claimed to be from Choice Energy. Requested private information. Refused to take me off sales lead list.

Scam..

I hung up I could heard it transfer overseas then telly marketing in the background so I hung up!

I called back and got a message that the number was disconnected

Claimed to be calling about electricity prices. Commented that it is a business phone and then it was many businesses have changed suppliers - I hung up

Hung up when I answered. When I tried to call back, announcement saying "This number is not connected"

Called number back and got an automated message saying 'the number is not connected'.
