Phillip has changed gender and now sounds like his sister is calling. very similar to knocker's experience> Said they were working in my area on behalf of microsoft and if I switched on my computer they could show me the infected files. As I was only born yesterday I immediately followed the instructions which would have allowed remote access to my computer - NOT
I just received a second call from this Phillip, my first was last week. Once again he told me that my computer was sending error messages to Microsoft. He claimed that this error is very dangerous and my computer will stop working soon. I told him that I talked to him last week, and I wasn't at all interested in anything he has to sell. He told me that he isn't trying to sell me anything and if I would shut up and listen, I would know that. He continued on about how his job is much more important than mine, so I hung up. He immediately called back and said, "You hung up on me!" I hung up again.
We've had a call from this guy. He calls himself Eric Watson to us. Not the usual name for an asian which is what made us suspicious! Uses the same technique as he's used with others. Please ignore him
