Caller: NBN

Claimed from NBN and my IP address had been compromised. Asked how many flashing lights on my modem. I was at work, going to call me back at 8pm. Good luck, phone number will be blocked on my mobile

Caller: Scammer pretending to be from NBN

The caller said she was from the NBN and stated that my modem was slow. She was going to help me fix the speed and then passed me on to another person purportedly to be a technician. We got to the chase where the “technician” wanted to remotely connect to my computer. I said I would NOT that allow that to happen which prompted an expletive in Hindi from the “technician” and the end of the call. Scammers - just hang up on them!

iPhone said from Cessnock, NSW. Never left a message. Blocked

Rings then hangs up. I then have to re enter my pass word on the phone.
