I get heaps of nuisance calls and being old it takes me a little while to get to the phone but what is spooky is it is almost as if the nuisances can see me as the phone stops ringing as soon as I reach it

N.S.W. number , So I let the answer machine take it , No message left .

I answered (as a business, not home phone if this makes a difference) - no response, silence for a few moments before they hung up.

Missed call - no message left. I'm assuming wrong number? At least it wasn't a political party calling on a private number which you can't block.
