Caller: Ebay

A Gentleman called and said he was from Ebay, calling about an order number for an iPhone 7 on my account and wanted to know whether I wanted to go ahead with the order. I said I never ordered an iPhone 7. He said there was an order on my account, quoted the order number and wanted to know if I wanted to go ahead. I said if this is really my order, what is my name? He said there was no name on the order. I said if this is really Ebay, you would know my name, what is my name. He said a name that was unrecognisable to me and I said, this is a scam. He said, no ma'am I'm calling from Ebay order ####. I said you can quote the order number again and again but unless you can tell me your name, this is a scam. He didn't reply. I said I would report them and he ended the call.
Please do not give any details to this person. This is a fake call.
