Can't find the number online. Don't think I have a tax debt. Seen warnings posted up at various places about fraudulent tax calls so I ignored it. Figure they could send me a letter if really true. 18/1/2019

Just the usual tax scam call threatening legal action over o/s tax debt. I worked for the ATO for 11 years and know they never call people to demand debt payment - they will always contact you in writing first. I also know I have no tax debt. You would have to be very uninformed to fall for this one. They switch numbers so blocking the call number won't work - easy enough to pick so just don't answer.

Caller: Tax Scam

I keep getting calls with the last 4 digits 1111. Every afternoon for the past month. I block them and they ring the next day using a new number but ending in 1111.

Caller: 4916 1111

Definitely scamming. They have no details but start with arrest to scare.

i received call from this number, person on the phone told me that i got some problem with my TAX WHICH can lead me to pay heavy or prison. i disconnected the call without saying yes or no and same time i rang to tax department. i came to know that all good with my Tax and this call was scam. so do not give any information to these sort of calls.
