Yeah funny how they refuse to say who they are until I say I am the person he was looking for. Then he startted saying is your middle name -------, is your month of birth ------ is your year of birth -----
Stupid twat calling someone refusing to say who you are and then asking me to identify myself, he can go fk himself for All I care. And as for Lite N Easy who sells our details to Lion Finance, well ya just lost a new customer.

Not everyone defaults for no reason sport. I was diagnosed with cancer last year, and notified the original creditor that I was unable to make repayments as I would be without work for a substantial period of time. Instead of working with me, they cracked it and onsold the debt to this mob. Still in recovery, and they're demanding payment. My other creditors that were understanding are now being repaid gradually. This firm is last on my priority list.

How about you pay the money you spent instead of wasting your time on online forums complaining about your bad life choices? Either that or go down to your local centrelink and claim money you don't deserve from hard working tax payers like myself, whilst still refusing to pay your bills.

Got this number this morning looking for my ex. Asked why they were looking for her on my phone, was told they had me listed as some form of contact. Told them I had been divorced for 3 years and had NFI where she was. Asked if other family members knew where she was, said nope, last we heard she was living with random people she was finding online. They conceded defeat. Made them remove my number from their contact list. 3 years on and I'm still having to deal with this BS, le sigh..

Some woman called 'Carolyn' called me and said she was trying to find out the name of a person who lived at an address around the corner from me. Very suspicious, especially after reading these comments! I told her nothing.

Maybe, just potentially you should pay your debts and stop complaining about them trying to collect on it - like you're morally obliged to. Why does it matter about the amount that they purchased the debt for? If you've spent $5000, you should pay $5000 back - with interest. It's only been unsold because the original financier has exhausted their options with collecting the debt. Perhaps people should spend less time on forums complaining about someone calling their work number and more time addressing their financial affairs... Then everyone would be happy.

This is Lion Finance. They call my work number constantly, and it's getting very annoying. Do they think they will get money out of me when I get fired for getting these calls all the time?

I got a call from this number. The person on the other end asked if I still resided at an old address from a number of years ago, and if I knew one of the neighbours. I asked where he got this number form (as it was a few years back that I lived there) and he said "from like a yellow pages search engine".
I smelled bullsh*t, because there's no way I'd be in a business directory like the yellow pages, so I asked for the website. He gave me a link that led me to www.mirusonline.com.au
Have a look - its a database of endless user detail, most likely used by debt collection of other financial tracking companies. I'm actually furious that I'd be listed on there, and that I can be searched for unrelated matters pertaining to neighbours.
Anyway, I didn't give them squat and said I never heard of the person they were looking for.
