Called selling some kind of financial services. or potentially a scam.

Claimed to be the "residential assessment program" for a little known government tax rebate, would not give a real company name, asked for loads of personal information.

I am on the 'Do not call' register. This number has called me several times both on my landline and on my mobile. I do not answer and the caller does not leave a message. Whoever they are, they are flaunting the rules.

Missed call to landline. I didn't recognise the number and always check the reverse register before returning call to unknown number. It's usually one of these call centre type calls. I just don't answer the call. They usually ring several times (often daily for 10 days) before giving up.These call centre operations seem to go in cycles and they don't respect the do not call register. If I answer a call by mistake, I'm polite to them and say I've just got whatever service they're selling (and never give any information, not even in surveys, etc). Then I don't get any more calls until a new call centre springs up. I've heard of many cases where someone is rude to the caller and then they get phone harassed really badly. And it appears to be very difficult to take action against these call centres as they're very slippery operations. Hope this comment (which applies to all such calls) is helpful.

On questioning by me after beginning to ask me personal questions, he said they were not an incorporated body, nor a government agency, nor a listed company, just a programme which represented other companies - which of course does not make sense. Certainly had the scent of a scam in my opinion.

Keeps calling and does not leave message. Call beck and constantly engaged. Obviously someone working from home as name and number is in white pages.

My phone didn't recognise this number so I didn't answer it and they didn't leave a message. Just a nuisance

A roofing business. Ignores the no not call register. Broke the law calling me about roofing products.
