Called by this number & they immediately hung up! Why do these scammers do this - what exactly is the point?
I called back & there was a message "claiming" they did not make the call, maintaining it was an overseas scammer using their number!
I worked for Telstra in telephone exchanges & to the best of my knowledge the CLI can NOT be faked so I assume it was this caller who actually called. They have this message to avoid callers.

"(long pause) Hello, I'm calling from Accident Helpline Service, about the car accident that you guys had." "No, I'm not aware of that. What was the company name?" "Thank you bye bye".
Probably attempted identity theft
