They call several times a day, I let it go to the answering machine, but they hang up. They called AGAIN today so I answered it and told them to stop calling this number then hung up. They call our landline, so I am unable to block it

Could a gov't agency block this number as they will prevent us answering legit calls?

THIS IS 3 rd call.....from same number ....
if u try and call it back..and i tryed for 2 solid hours, DIDNT RING ONCE"ALWAYS ENGAGED"
this is a scam PHISHING for OUR INFO,,,to connect the DOTS and get our DATA.
JUST WILL NOT STOP CALLING...same # new voice each time.

2 calls from this number within two hours. nobody on the other end when i answered, and it automatically disconnected after 2 seconds. waste of time. blocked.

Has called 3-4 times most days for over a month. Even when answered no one responds.

They've called us everyday for the past week more than once a day. Never answer and they never leave a message!

Had a gut full of these pests keep putting complaints into Do Not Call Register. Still full on with NBN spam and Telstra Spam/ Enough is enough, get acknowledgement from D N C register but still getting these harassing pests at a time I do not need it after passing of my hubby and flood situation. Truly have had a gut full of these spam calls. Next step Fed police if no action from D N C register.

keep calling but hang up when i say hello i have been told they do this to see if you are home then will ring back knowing your there well if i answer yes i am here but i guess they are not paying for the call as they have hacked into someone elses number so it doesnt bother them but im absolutley fed up to the teeth with them

Absolute nuisance. Whatever happened to the "DO NOT CALL REGISTER" that you enter your phone and mobile number on to stop advertising people from phoning you. I'm registered, but looks like that's useless too.

Charles calling about solar rebate. I politely advised that I was not interested and he just hung up on me. Rude and annoying. These callers are making racist!

If they are calling from outside Australia the Do Not Call Registry doesn't apply unfortunately :-(
