Sounded like a call centre. Probably scammers

Caller: Scam call

Call locality was Kiama, didn't catch the name of the person. Claiming to be from securities department of commbank and that someone was trying to complete an international transaction to James Smith of $800. The caller then asked if I would like to stop the transaction and that her supervisor would be able to sort everything out. I asked her what my name is and she could not tell me because of confidentiality but that she knows everything about me - obviously lying. I pressed again for my name and she would not say, so obviously did not know and the call is clearly a scam.

Painful Block.....

Call centre background sounds, pause until I said hello a couple of times. Said it’s the security department of commbank, I said no I’m alright thanks bye and hung up. Proceeded to call me on a WA number a couple of hours later again *eyeroll*
