I answered and they hung up

i answered but no reply - scam ?

A woman said they were raising money to stop cats and dogs from being euthanized and that they were being euthanized every 3 minutes during the COVID-19 pandemic. I was then asked for credit card details. The woman ignored what I said and kept speaking, making it clear that it was automated. Seems like a scam to me.
