Call about Active Kids voucher application. Thought it was suss so I called back via 13 77 88 and confirmed it was Service NSW

This is absolutely scammer the same girl voice have been ringing me for a few months. I have blocked the number long time ago and kept leaving the message she claimed from Service NSW.
Don't answer or give any personal detail to this number.

This is not a scam number. It is really from Service NSW!!

I also Called Serv NSW & they couldn't confirm it was a legitimate number, It seemed to be real, but i know these types of hackers as they would of hacked Service NSW Salesforce, copy their ways to try obtain your personal info & bank details etc. Play it safe Don't answer it.

Why do people think this is a scam? It's one thing to be cautious, but another to be obsessively suspicious. It's Service NSW!! They have given me assistance in applying for an Energy Rebate.

Female, told me she is from Service NSW and asked if I remember my Covid Business application form because there are a few more question to answer.
I answered she should email me any information she is asking for, as I do not confidential questions over the phone. Be aware hang up

Did not seem genuine at all. Hung up one when I requested further information.

Seems genuine because they've hacked Service NSW Salesforce.

If you send a test email to the return email address provided, you'll find it is a 'Do Not Reply' site.

I thought it is not a spam call and give me my information about my business, the address, business activity statement for a year, et al. And I check the real email from Service NSW, and found it shows they never email for the personal information. Should I report to the police?

This is a genuine number from Service NSW, it is not spam.

The number is in Bowral but there is no SNSW Office in Bowral. The email reply was not acknowledged. Original voicemail starts with an accent but then switches to a local one and the message is read from a script. Although supposedly official, the email is signed in a lower case name without any role or department. Googling the reply email address does not bring up a match with SNSW.

Called SNSW who couldn't confirm it was a genuine contact but still told me to reply to the email ??? Odd that it's a landline. Called back and got out of date Covid messaging fron SNSW. Seems bizarre.
