Caller hung up when answered

Wanted to walk me through a PC infection??? I have no infection; Firewall, AV software & Spyware running. I told (Indian woman) I have no Telstra account and my landline is Silent/unlisted. So how are they spying on my account/number. Do not ring me again. Delete my number. (She hung up).

3 calls from this number today ! Not answered, and let message bank take it , but they didn't leave anything !

I told her the same thing that I did not have internet. Quickly hung up on me.

they say they are from Telstra trying to get in pc this is a scam to get information from your pc and bank details when you tell them the call is being track they abuse you and call you all tjhe name under the sun donot give them any information if they are from telstra then they should be able to tell you if your computers on or off they don't know just hang up the phone or ask them where did they get the I.T Diploma as they did not get it here or anywhere they are reading off scrip on pc

When i called back 30 minutes later... Optus advised this number is no longer valid. Obviously a spam call

This person said that someone had hack the internet connection and was downloading information without permission. He sounded suspicious so I told him I would contact Telstra for confirmation. It was a scammer trying to get information.

Difficult to understand Indian accent. I said that I did not have a problem with internet and hung up. They called back 24 times! I said "no problem, do not call again" each time, but they kept calling. After 24 times they finally stopped.

Called me 4 times today. Handled by message bank as I never answer unknown numbers. Only left 1 message as Telstra support scam.

This is a scam number. claiming to be from Telstra saying that i had been hacked and someone was downloading illegal content through my internet and that they were going to turn it off if i didnt give them a certain number from my computer. did he really think that i am that stupid. Firstly i am not with telstra and secondly they wouldnt ring like that, i just hung up on him. he was getting angry with me and talking over the top of me. i just laughed at him and hung up

They claim to call from Telstra saying my internet is being disconnected because my PC is downloading viruses by itself, I kept telling them not to call and hung up, they called straight back telling me to listen, I told them I didn't want to talk to them so to stop calling and they kept calling back as soon as I hung up they called back. I told them I was going to report them and they still called back until I yelled at them to stop calling me and left the phone off the hook. They called back 5 times in a matter of 2 minutes.

This is from a scammer pretending to be Telstra. I have confirmed with Telstra that this is not one of their numbers and they confirmed it is a scammer.

I am getting annoyed as I have received NUMEROUS calls at all times of the day from this caller. I never answer and they never leave a message. Thanks to those who have posted warnings.

Over these so called Telstra hoax calls.all day and late at night tonigh ,turn on your computor .can hardley speak english.i have a cow bell and i will let him have full force of it if it keeps up.t

virus on internet found must be fixed this was the 8th call today a different person called each time
fed up as they waste my time by having to go to phone to answer it . and then I cannot understand what they are saying in their broken english. they do not give their foreign christian names I wonder why.
cannot the police or whatever do something about these scammers who try to access our computers to steal goodness what information from them.

Called at 9.45 pm & when I saw the "08" prefix I let it go to message bank. They hung up & didn't leave a message.

Called at 9.57pm. Claimed to be from Telstra. From background noise and accent, obvious SCAM.

Just had a call from this number and all the caller did was giggle while talking to me. I ask why he was giggling and he said he was just happy to be able to contact me about my PC and stated he was from Telstra (still giggling) and when I said he was trying to scam me he hung up........bloody wanker.

Called several times said if I did not listen would keep calling back which he did reported that number to Telstra who pursued him to close number

Calls and doesn't leave message. We are an emergency medical business. Calls like this can clog out emergency lines for patients who truly need it.
