Another "Telstra calling" scammer scumbag POS - abuse profusely and then hang-up. The cheeky bums will call back claiming to be genuine.... then tell you to get stuffed.

Claimed he was from Telstra tech dept and that overseas hackers were using my identity for criminal activity !!!! It was a follow up call from a female also Indian accented with the same scam attempt. Hung up immediately when I pointed out that Telstra don't make such calls but always communicate in writing.

Yet another scam trying to get paid to remove a virus that isn't there.

Same thing Indian accent pretending to be from telstra saying there was an issue with my internet.

When I answered there was no response on the other end, so I hung up.

Didn't answer it, and they didn't leave a message; glad I left it alone.

Held on the phone to see what the BS scam was this time. Telstra computer internet, I said mate we can't even get phone service where I live do you think I would have Telstra internet. And he hung up.

Another new scam number to add to my list. Suggest you go along with it (not doing anything to your computer of course) and then ask them to repeat it again, then tell them you don't have a computer, lol.

A "representative" from Telstra wanting to talk to me about a reported isuue with my computer's connection to the internet.

Said my computer was infected with hidden files and wanted me to turn on my computer so he could get in to it. Said it would crash otherwise. Probably Indian accent.
On checking phone number I was told it is unconnected.

said he was from technical department at Telstra concerning error messages they were getting from my computer. when questioned he hung up.[
