suspicious looking number. only rang briefly. blocked anyway as I'm sick of getting nuisance calls since my number isn't listed, isn't given anywhere or used for anything except a handful of family/friends. I go so far as telling business I'll just come back rather than leave my number.

Called asking me to take a survey

the number just called but i couldent ansow

Answered, woman states calling from a company I think called "Stop Pay More" (difficult to understand) wanting me to complete a short survey. I googled the company couldn't find it so hung up.

Missed a call from this number today so called pack from a private landline cos I didn't recognise the number.

Called my work phone and hung up when I said hello.

Answered this call and no-one was on the other end.

Just received a call from this number and they hung up as soon as I answered.

Ring every other day and hang up after two rings. Have blocked now.

Why do they let the phone ring for only a few rings and then hangup before I can answer? Are they just trying to find valid phone numbers?

Have been getting calls from numbers like these a lot lately and I have answered a couple and each time I do, the person on the other end doesn’t talk or make and noise. After I say hello a couple of times they just hang up.

Received a call from this number today - unknown. I didn't answer and no message was left on my voice message. I don't like nuisance calls and won't answer if I don't recognise the caller. I live in Sydney, I'm originally from overseas and have no reason to be receiving calls from "08" areas
